Southern LINCS is a regional site for LINCS , a national electronic information and communication system for adult literacy. This site is a focal point for the southern region with links to state, regional, and national information. SLINCS is hosted by the Southern Regional Technology Center at the Center for Literacy Studies, University of Tennessee. Southern LINCS , a consortium of fourteen southern states, is coordinated by the Center for Literacy Studies at The University of Tennessee. The fourteen consortium members are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
